Plan and lead groups at senior care facilities in Wake County, North Carolina on a part-time basis.
10/2010-3/2012 Howard County Office on Aging, Maryland. Contractual Art Therapist. Conducted groups at three separate senior centers.
10/2008-10/2010 Howard County Public Schools. Substitute art teacher: Give instruction to students in the elementary school setting.
07/2008-08/2008 Workshop Leader: led a weekly group for pre-school aged children for them to explore the qualities of different art materials.

Some other interests include reading, playing piano, cooking, gardening, and especially, spending time with my son and daughter (born in 2003 and 2005). Extensive international travel over the years, most significantly, one year spent overseas in London and Edinburgh (1990-1991). I can read and speak French.
